Hamza Arsbi studied an MSc in International Development: Public Policy and Management at the University of Manchester as a Saïd Foundation – Chevening scholar. In Jordan, he is leading the Science League, a social enterprise started in 2012. The Science League works across the country to increase access to education and teach 21st century skills to the next generation. Over the past six years, his organization reached over 6000 students in seven cities across Jordan and developed a number of supportive curricula for both teachers and students. Recently, the Science League established the Mind Lab, an educational center at the Business Park dedicated to researching, developing, as well as training in new educational and thinking methodologies.
For this work, Hamza received multiple fellowships and awards, such as the AMENDS Fellowship at Stanford and the Laureate Global Fellowship by the International Youth Foundation. He was also selected as a Jordanian success story by HM King Abdullah II of Jordan in 2015.
